Design for Stage

I trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama (2005), specialising in designing immersive productions and participatory projects. I have designed sets, costumes and puppets for productions at the Arcola, Finborough, Jerwood Space, Camden Arts Centre, Stratford Circus, Embassy Theatre and Polka Theatre, London; the Minack Theatre, Cornwall; Theatre Royal and The Warren (fringe venue), Brighton; The Grand, Wolverhampton; and in parks and community spaces around Sussex with a children's puppet show "There's a Tiger in the Garden".

I worked as design assistant and model-maker to Alex Marker, and Ben Stones 2006 – 2007, and as set maker and painter at the Old Red Lion, Watford Palace, Arcola Theatre between 2005 – 2008.

I have experience in developing new work as part of the companies and collectives: Flock theatre makers; Shapeshifter; Little Wonder; and, at the Playground Studios London. I'm primarily interested in devised work, or work which challenges the traditional form of text-based productions. Selected production images below:
